A blue outline of a calendar sits above the words "Calendar Notice" on a white background, all framed by a thick yellow border.

All Pierce students will be allowed (and encouraged) to wear their school appropriate Halloween costume to school on Friday, October 30th. There will not be an opportunity for students to put on their costumes at school. Please make sure your child's costume falls within our costume guidelines.

Your Room Parent will be coordinating the classroom Halloween party. Please look for their communication if you'd like to volunteer.

A blue globe with icons representing music, theater, art, and architecture sits above the words "Extra Curricular Activities" on a white background framed by a yellow border.

BOOKS OVER BREAKFAST

Books Over Breakfast returns on Friday, November 6th, at 8:00 AM!

Our popular book clubs are starting up again. Drop your students off at school at 8:00 AM to enjoy this fun reading enrichment program -- complete with a book discussion, an activity, and bagels!

Three stylized figures surround a dollar sign in a circle, with the word "Bond" below, all set against a plain white background with a yellow border.

The Birmingham School Safety and Facilities Improvement Bond is a proposed $240 million bond that would result in no increase to the current tax rate for Birmingham homeowners.

If approved by voters, the proposal would fund critical safety and security improvements in every school, address aging infrastructure, expand early childhood programming, and enhance spaces that support hands-on, career-centered learning experiences.

A blue shield with a checkmark and a padlock is centered on a white background, with the words "Safety & Security" below it, all framed by a yellow border.

To help keep student arrivals and dismissals safe, we are making an immediate change to our e-bike and e-moto practices at BPS elementary and middle school campuses. We will continue to monitor their use at our high schools.

Effective immediately, only Level 1 and Level 2 e-bikes will be permitted on elementary and middle school campuses. Level 3 e-bikes and e-motos will not be permitted. This change brings our practices into compliance with local and county ordinances and, most importantly, helps maintain a safe environment for our students and families.

Do you love singing? Are you in 5th grade? Do you want to have fun making music together every week before school? Then join the choir! We will be meeting starting Thursday October 15th from 8:00-8:40 am.
