SACC operates as a service to elementary-aged students enrolled in Birmingham Public Schools. The program provides a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment for Junior Kindergarten-5th-grade students before and after school. SACC offers a wide range of activities that include outdoor play, crafts, games, and other fun-filled pastimes. Homework, reading, and other quiet activities are provided as well. 

The program serves families Mondays-Fridays with registration options for half-days, mornings, and afternoon sessions. SACC— which strictly follows the district calendar— begins the first full day of school in the fall, ends the last full day of school in the spring, and meets only on days school is in session. 

BPS SACC is licensed by the Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs.
